Module overview

Master the core workflows required to design, circuit, and manage intelligent power and lighting networks using native electrical tools in Revit. This module guides you through the process of establishing a robust 3D electrical infrastructure, starting with placing hosted and non-hosted terminal devices like lighting fixtures and receptacles into architectural models. You will learn how to set up electrical distribution networks by placing panels to act as system roots, generating logical power and lighting circuits, and mapping control logic through dedicated switching systems. Finally, you will explore how to manage and audit data integrity across your electrical networks by tracking distribution loads in the System Browser and generating live, data-driven panel schedules that update bidirectionally with your model elements.
